چکیده :

Hydrodynamics characteristics and flow behavior of dried TiO2 agglomerates have been studied experimentally and computationally in a conical lab- scale fluidized bed. The two-fluid flow model including kinetic theory of granular flow and agglomerates based approach was used in CFD simulations and their results were validated by comparison with the experimental data obtained by optical fiber probe technique. Simulated results show that the solid volume fraction and solid velocity along the bed height were in good agreement with the experimental data and also distribution of diameter of TiO2 agglomerates along the bed height was obtained from simulation results
