Thermoluminescence kinetic analysis of quartz using an improved general order model for exponential distribution of activation energies

A modified thermoluminescence general order model has been presented for an exponential distribu- tion of trapping states, which fairly approaches the corresponding first and second orders of kinetics. The proposed model was used for kinetic analysis of thermoluminescence glow curve of quartz from the central zone of Iran. Results show that the presented model is thoroughly applicable in real thermoluminescence glow peaks.
