چکیده :

The main objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between felt accountability and job satisfaction, and consider the moderating role of organizational politics. The statistical population of this study included all faculty members of Urmia University during 2012 academic year. The results and findings of this study reveal that there exists a positive and significant relationship between accountability and job satisfaction, whereas there exists a negative significant relationship between felt accountability and perceptions of organizational politics. In addition, there is a positive significant relationship between job satisfaction and perceptions of organizational politics. Moreover, based on these findings, it can be concluded that if the individuals’ perceptions of organizational politics increase within organizations, their felt accountability will reduce.
