چکیده :

In this paper, we present a generalized formulation of the Thomas–Fermi (TF), by considering the effect of a noncommutative space-time. Using the modified dispersion relations arising from the noncommutative effects, we obtain modified TF equations. We present various variants of the model: at zero temperature and in the presence of thermal effects, both in the non-relativistic and the relativistic regimes. We also consider the effect produced by a very strong magnetic field. To illustrate the model, we treat the problem of dielectric screening and discuss the effects of noncommutativity on the TF length.
