The aim of present study is to explore the users' opinion of public libraries in Iran, regarding
the use of social media tools by public libraries and their expectation from the library through
social media and to study for what purpose (s) users use these tools. A web-based
questionnaire was used to collect data from users in the public libraries of Iran. The study
