چکیده :

Introduction: Burn therapy is one of the most important cures in medicine because of disorders that can cause like infection and decrease metabolic demand. The use of Nanoparticles and natural compounds as a biologic cure is effective and increase healing compared with standard burn therapy. This investigation was performed tocomparison between of honey and silver Nanoparticles effects on skin burn repair in male mice. Material and Methods: This study was performed on 40 bal b/c mice. Prior to burn, mice were randomly divided into five groups of control, the second group reciving honey and the other groups receiving different concentrations of silver nanoparticles 500, 250 and 125ppm. Honeyandsilver Nanoparticlesduring the wholeperiodwasappliedto thesite ofinjuryandthecontrol groupreceiveddeionized distilled water. Onthe7, 14, 21and 28th days became wound are a measurements and data by ANOVA test was analyzed. Results:Percentage ofwound healingon days14, 21and 28group receivinghoneythan the control groupand theother groupswashighlysignificant (P≤0.01). Also onday 28compared with controlgroups receiving125ppm silver nanoparticles showeda significant increase in the percentage ofwound healing (P= 0.03). Discussion: In this investigation, the flavonoids of honey, similar to free radicals of silver nanoparticles (125ppm concentration) could be induced repair with pathway due to destruction of damage cells around wound skin. Thus, thecombination ofhoney andsilver nanoparticles as a new nano composite in future research his suggested.
