Today, both the press and non-press kiosks are of the urban community's requirements .They have been produced based on people daily needs and survived until the present day. Therefore, control and supervision of the management and location for settlement of the kiosks in town seems necessary. Spatial organization of these kiosks, as a part of urban furniture, which is also important from urban aesthetics point of view has a major role in improving urban landscape. This research was conducted using descriptive analysis and collection of required data has been done using field work of kiosks status in the city of Rasht.The main objective of this study is to locate press kiosks using Geographic Information System (GIS) and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) in Rasht. The study method is a combination of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and GIS system. Expert Choice software was used for valuation of data layers. The results indicate that the most suitable sites for the press kiosks are in the northern, eastern and western areas of the city. Due to the large scattering of press kiosk, central and southern parts of the city are not suitable places for location.
