Evaluation of damage index of confined brick wall by park & Ang index

Nowadays damage index is used as a tool for accurate evaluation of structure and decision-making to determine the amount of damages to structures the advantage of the damage indexes is Identifying structure condition besides identifying the amount of damages and also is used as criteriont for decision-making. In this research, in order to investigate of the effects of span length, number of spans and number of stories on the damage index of masonry walls had been modeled walls with 3, 4, 5-meter long in one span and two spans and at one story and two stories and had been analyzed under nonlinear dynamical analysis. and structure conditions had been investigated base on the index of Park and Ang.
