STUDY OF FACTORS AFFECTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPORTS TOURISM IN GILAN PROVINCE FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF MANAGE RS AND SPORTS EXPERTS

Abstract The aim of this study is to compare the factors affecting the development of sports tourism in Gilan province, from perspective of managers and sport experts. This research is descriptive - analytical and to field method was conducted. The population includes managers and experts of sport general office and youth and cultural heritage office, handicraft and tourism in the province of 140 people. Since there is no standard questionnaire to collect data in accordance with the objectives of the study, questionnaire researcher made were used five values of Likert. This study consists of three parts. Part One: demographic characteristics of respondents and the second part include 15 questions to evaluate the factors attractive and the part three includes 16 questions is to examine the impellent factors. Validity and reliability tests with 91 percent were approved after collecting data by using SPSS software for data extraction, editing and to test hypotheses and analyze the data from the descriptive statistics and display data, drawing diagrams and frequency were used. In inferential statistics section, from the one-sample t-test and chi or chi-square test to determine the relationship and severity of impact and from the Friedman test to determine the ranking of impact and importance of the components were used. According to the hypotheses of study the desirability of attracting factors in the development of sport tourism in in Gilan Province, including facilities and infrastructure, natural attractions, historic and special artistic attractions of Mountaineering and Sport Climbing was not verified and factors impellent include attractions relating water sports, beach summer,
