Entrepreneurship and creativity are considered corner stones of this fundamental transition. Steady economic growth which leads to international prestige and recognition could only be obtained through accurate planning and development of Entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is the most important source for innovation, job opportunities and development. Entrepreneurship is one of the major factors of economic growth and development besides capital and man power, which requires creative and innovative Entrepreneurs. Encouraging Entrepreneurship attitude in the society and training motivated Entrepreneurs has a positive effect on social and economic development, for Entrepreneurs improve the overall performance of business units and enterprises through optimum utilization of resources and creation of job opportunities. This article studies the concept of Entrepreneurship in order to analyze the need for its development and application in the society in an attempt to describe its role in the social and economic growth of a nation as well as its advantages and disadvantages.
