چکیده :

In order to investigate the effects of humic acid and vermicompost and their interaction effects on the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the milk thistle medicinal plant, an experiment as a factorial form in a randomized complete block design with three replications was conducted. In this study, three ratios volume of vermicompost with loam soil, including 100:0, 90:10, and 80:20 and humic acid foliar application at three levels of zero (control), 1000 and 2000 mg.lit-1 were examined. The variance analysis results showed that vermicompost at one percent probable on the plant height, plant dry weight, seeds number in the capitol, and oil percent, silymarin and silibin percent and at five percent probable on the seed thousand weight was significant, as well as humic acid has a significant effect on the one percent probable on the plant dry weight and at five percent probable on the plant height, seed number per capitol, oil percent, silymarin and silibin percent was significant. Also the interaction effect of vermicompost with humic acid on the plant dry weight, seed thousand weight and silymarin percent at five percent probable was significant. Based on the mean comparison results, vermicompost and humic acid increases the plant height, plant dry weight, seeds number in the capitol, and oil percent, silymarin and silibin percent and decreases seed thousand weight and oil percent so that 20% vermicompost treatment with 1000 mg.lit-1 of humic acid had the most effect on the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the milk thistle
