Nowadays, byproducts of forests and rangelands have a closely and intimately relationship
with human life and importance and high value of the drug, cosmetic and industrial materials
caused to much of these products export to international markets. The aim of this study was
to determine harvesting priority of forests and rangeland species in the countries of West
Azerbaijan Province and also make the exploitation of these products more economical. In
this study a combination of two documentary and field study are used, which required data
were gathered by using a variety of sources and making questionnaire. In this research, 10
top-average interest products (Acanthus ،Acorn fruit،Bitter almond ،Liquorice ،Persian
turpentine gum ،Rhubarb ،Shallot ،Sumac ،Walnut fruit ،Wild pistachio fruit) were
investigated. Sufficient density species and high prior species for each country area were
determined and finally more economical products for any zone by consideration the average
profit factor, were determined.
