چکیده :

Abstract: Globalization implies the opening of local and nationalistic perspectives to a broader outlook of an interconnected and interdependent world with free transfer of capital, goods, and services across national frontiers. However, it does not include unhindered movement of labour and, as suggested by some economists, may hurt smaller or fragile economies if applied indiscriminately. In India, globalization refers to the opening of the gates of the economy for mutual global co-operation by way of reducing control and bureaucratic delays and steering the economy towards better market orientation. This paper aim is to examine the relationship between Globalization and Cooperative Sector in India and how markets access may affect the sustainability of cooperative relations. As the interaction between agents as the globalization might crowd out various types of cooperative relations is a main theme in current policy debates, and is an argument of anti-global activists; but it is also suggested by a surprising number of apparently unrelated informal observations and econometric studies.
