چکیده :

This study investigated the relationship between job characteristics and job satisfaction of Bank Sepah employees in East Azarbaijan province .This is a descriptive-analytical research. Population employed in this study consists of 50 branches which their employees were selected based on stratified random sampling of 217 employees. Questionnaires validity was confirmed by experts. The reliability of research questions was assessed by Cronbach's Alfa and the results of this analysis indicate a high level of reliability of these questions to measure the variables of this research. Then the SPSS software was used for data analysis. In this study, two main hypotheses and five secondary hypotheses were put to test. The research results indicate that there is an inverse significant relationship between the variable of job characteristics with job satisfaction and the components of job characteristics including skill diversity with job satisfaction, the job significance with job satisfaction, job autonomy with job satisfaction and job feedback with job satisfaction of Bank Sepah employees in East Azarbaijan province. There is no significant relationship between job identity and job satisfaction. There is a significant difference between the relationship of each component of job characteristics and job satisfaction in East Azarbaijan province.
