چکیده :

Kiwifruit Cultures were initiated from single-node explants on Murashige and Skoog medium containing 2 mg.l-1 BA. In shoot proliferation stage, 20 culture media containing MS supplemented with 3 concentrations of BA (0, 1, 2 mg.l-1 ) individually and along with IAA (0, 0.1, 0.2 mg.l-1 ) were compared. Maximum shoot proliferation from axillary buds was achived on media supplemented with 2 mg.l-1 BA alone. Formation of axillary shoots was influenced by concentration of cytokinin. In the rooting experiment, the shoots were cultured on MS medium containing BA (0, 1, 2, 3 mg.l-1) with various concentrations of IBA or IAA (0, 1, 2, 3 mg.l-1). Regenerated shoots produced prominent roots when transferred to MS medium supplemented with IBA (3.0 mg.l-1). The effect of IAA on rooting was not significant. Approximately 80% of the rooted microcuttings were established successfully as container-grown plants.
