Considering the importance and application of nanoparticles, the magnetic nanoparticles will be synthesized via new procedures and applied as catalyst for the synthesis of organic compounds. In this project L-Histidine amino acid will be supported on magnetic nanoparticles and after surface modifications, this nanoparticles will be used to trap Nickel(II) through a strong interaction between the metal nanoparticles and functional groups of the amino acid. The characterization of the synthesized nanocatalyst will be performed using different techniques such as: TGA-DTA, FT-IR, SEM, XRD and AAS analysis. Then, these nanoparticles will be used for the synthesis of symmetrical diaryl sulfides. The most important advantages of this nano-catalyst are none expensive and high efficiency, simple recovery and reusability in the reactions.
