Very Thin Asphalt Overlay

This research aimed to evaluate the mechanical performance of very thin asphalt overlay mixtures as a sustainable solution for the rehabilitation of urban pavements. A comparative study has been conducted between the mechanical behavior of VTAOM and a high performance overlay mixture (BBTM 11B) commonly used in pavement rehabilitation. The research was concerned with the implementation of these mixtures in urban areas and focused on both mechanical and durability features.
