Economic valuation of soil erosion damage in soil erosion-sensitive lands of the country (Iran)

In general, soil and water are two natural resources and basic needs for agricultural production, of which soil is more important because of its pivotal basis. In this regard, the trend of increasing urban and rural population, the basic need for agricultural products, important soil components have undergone changes, and due to the lack of knowledge of historical custodians, the strategy of such a plan with a strategic multidisciplinary model (SMM) was recognized as necessary. By implementing such a research plan, which is accompanied by the preparation of materials and methods in the majority of parametric and non-parametric statistics, it provides the basis for results and discussion for areas sensitive to soil erosion in 31 provinces of the country (Iran). Since the target population of the study has historical challenges that have made more than 65 to 92 percent of various upstream and downstream areas of agricultural, garden and forest lands sensitive to erosion, a new look at soil is very necessary. According to this issue, the sensitivity of agricultural soils, past lost values ​​and opportunities, the strategic goal of such a goal can transform threats and shortcomings of national interests into multipurpose opportunities in the economy. In the end, it is concluded that the implementation of this research project, which is related to the "fundamental, applied, developmental" components, is the solution to the current risks of agricultural soils in the country (Iran).
