Organic organizational structure; a path to strategic thinking

We live in an era of constant, rapid, and unpredictable change. It is very obvious that identifying effective factors of the internal environment of an organization and the qulity of ineraction among these factors enables the organization to help its growth and survival.the organizational structure is one of the most imortant factors of an organzation which is directly related to the interests and future of the organization. being able to predict and planning the efficiency of success in the future depends on having strategic thinking. Successful organizations and firms take advantage from hidden interests and oportunities in the strategic thinking. In this paper, the concepts of organizational structure, strategic thinking, organic and mechanical comparison and the relationship between organic organizational structure and strategic thinking will be investigated. Reviews of the theoretical concepts of organizational structure illustrate that if the organizational structure is organic, it can be the starting point of strategic thinking and makes its path easy and decreases the problems confronting organizations in the competeteive situations.
