The trade law was approved in 1932 in Iran by imitation from the model of French trade law. After the conducted amendments in 1968, no modifications have occurred in this law until by effort of a group of lawyers, the new bill of trade law was ratified in 2011. General partnership is one type of commercial companies, which are embedded within framework of private corporations. Through compliance of the status quo regarding general partnerships in current trade law and the conditions which have been considered for this company by formulators of new bill of trade law, the present article tends to the regulations that can remove the existing problems about the rules in this company. It can be concluded from assaying this bill that despite of making attempt to update trade laws in some cases the new bill of trade law may not remove the problems comprehensively and therefore it necessitates analysis and assaying on terms of this bill by lawyers within the framework of expert conferences.
