چکیده :

Introduction: Sexual relation is a natural absorption in the family appropriate environment that it's acceptance and satisfaction is effective in maintaining the family system But following the giving birth due to certain circumstances of this period, sexual behavior changes. Due to the prevalence of low sexual desire and its relationship with the giving birth of the first child in women who experiencing motherhood for the first time first, we performed this study. Materials and Methods: 120 married women (60 women with children and 60 women without children), age ranges 30-20 years were selected with the sampling and at available method non-randomly from among the health centers and Obstetrics & Gynecologists Offices. Results: Results showed that women who have not yet experienced pregnancy and Childbirth, have had better sexual function (p = 0/017) and had higher marital satisfaction (p= 0/005). Also, the mean score for each group was determined, and mean sexual function in women with no children was 3/6 and for women with children was 3/3. Conclusion: The results suggest that married women without children have obtained higher mean scores of sexual satisfaction and higher marital satisfaction rather than women who have experienced childbirth. And this shows that Sexual factor is very important for the marital satisfaction. It should be noted the effects of other factors other than sex factor on marital satisfaction was assessed. Factors such as age, length of marriage, economical factors had an important role in this field.
