Global Positioning System (GPS) spoofing could pose a major threat for GPS navigation systems, so the GPS users have to gain a better understanding of the broader implications of GPS. Since spoofing attack can influence position results, compensating spoofing is possible by reducing its deviations. In this paper, a novel processing technique ha s proposed. The wavelet transform is used to eliminate the impact of spoofing on the stationary GPS receivers. We assumed that the spoofing attack is immediately detected, and then the position residuals of the last authentic and new spoofing signals are p assed to the statistic wavelet transform at the first level. By de-noising in the next step and omission of noise, position deviations due to a spoofing attack can be extracted. After that, estimated position solution of received signal has been corrected. Finally, the receiver coordinates have calculated by averaging the corrected positions. For validation of the suggested algorithm, five different data sets are investigated. We could mitigate spoofing in all data sets more than 93%. The test results show that the proposed technique supremely improves the performance of the GPS receiver and attenuates the effect of spoofing.
