چکیده :

In today’s competitive market, producers perceive that they need to produce goods at low prices and with high efficiency in order to survive; this would never happen unless the greatest value would be achieved in the working processes of a system in return to the involved expenses. On the other hand, the Value Analysis is a systematic method to increase the value of goods & services based on considering the performance. Therefore, using the Value Analysis is necessary in many organizations as a powerful tool. Doing the Value Analysis also involves high costs, and sometimes the expenses of Value Analysis performance cause the organization to face many problems. Thus, before compiling a plan for the purpose of Value Analysis performance in the production system, the condition of the organization must be considered from the standpoint of feasibility of Value Analysis. For this reason, to be sure about the continuation of activities, the condition of the organization must be specified in the market and the necessity of Value Analysis performance should be studied. Various methods can be used for implementing this affair, one of which is utilization of strategic position and action evaluation matrix (SPACE). So, SPACE matrix is going to be prepared in one of the organizations in Iran. Delphi method was used for gathering the data and forming the matrix. The results indicated that the condition of the organization under study is in the aggressive quadrant of SPACE matrix. So, it was concluded that the organization should perform the Value Analysis to meet the consumers’ demand fast and to decrease the product costs.
