چکیده :

The overall objective of this paper is examining the role of social capital in the urban management through the analysis of the urban management based on trust and cooperation and collaboration as social capital variables. Also, the significant differences or lack of differences of the two main variables, social capital and urban management, according to the gender, native status, marital status, education, residency in the city, and employment are investigated. The research methodology is quantitative. In order to survey the research objectives, reliability test, validity, ordinal regression, mann – Whitney U, and median with the help of SPSS and LISREL are used. Data gathering is based on the simple random sampling. The statistical society is Zanjan’s citizens and the size of the sample is 200. Research results show that cooperation and collaboration has greater share in urban management changes compare to the trust; trust level in women is greater than in men; the amount of cooperation and collaboration from the perspective of native citizens, higher educated, city resident is more than its amount in not native citizens, less educated, not city resident; level of urban management from the perspective of citizens employed in government agencies is higher than urban management from the perspective of other citizens.
