Attempts have been made to improve the mechanical along with other properties of Polypropylene by using additives in the
form of No-dust blends (NDB). Two different methods were used to convert the additives into NDB. The results of melt flow
rate tests (MFR) showed that by using additives in the NDB form instead of powder form, the value of MFR decreases
significantly. Moreover, the rate of increase of MFR by increasing the number of times of process decreases when using
additives in NDB form. These results suggested the higher performance of NDB form which was confirmed by mechanical
properties. The results of yellow index test (YI) also showed a high difference between the samples prepared from the
additives in the powder form and NDB form.
