چکیده :

Background and Aim:Toxocaridae is one of the most common soil-borne parasites and intestinal nematodes that cause ocular and acute visceral toxoplasmosis. Public parks are important places that may be contaminated by toxocara parasite eggs. The objective of the study was review on contamination of Public Park by toxocara parasite eggs in Qazvin in 2014. Methods:In the experimental study, 100 samples (The approximate weight of 30 grams) were collected from the grass lawns of a public park (Fadak Park) in Qazvin. The samples were examined by sedimentation – flotation. Samples were taken every 10 to 15 Smear. The specimens were observed with a microscope. The collected data were analyzed by statistical software SPSS17. Results:It was diagnosed only two of toxocara eggs. In the two samples there was only a lack of a fetal egg. Strongyloides larva was observed in 100% of cases. It also was observed in 55% of samples of larvae, parasitic mites and other eggs. Conclusion:Toxoplasma parasite eggs were contaminated low efficient in Fadak park lawn. This may be due to some important parameters such as the sufficient care of lawns in the park in terms of traffic control and ownership of stray dogs and cats, the lack of available dogs and cats infected with the parasite toxoplasma efficient in this area, and the topography of the park
