چکیده :

Background: Students learning in clinical teaching environment is an essential part of curriculum. Knowing factors effective in quality and quantity of clinical teaching and its obstacles is useful in solving clinical education problems. One of those factors is the environment. This study is done in order to compare the Bushehr student's and teacher's Paramedical school point of view about clinical education fields. Methods: In a cross-sectional study all students (124) and faculty members (teachers) (21) of Paramedical schools filled up a questionnaire including personality information and specific questions (divided into four major domains: learning opportunity, learning support, physical environment and communication). The score of each domain was calculated according to course, grade and term. Results: Student's and teacher's age were 22.63±2.35 and 40±6.1 respectively. There were not any significant difference between students and teachers in the following domains: communication and hospital physical environment (p>0.05). But learning opportunity and learning support, there were significant difference between students and teachers (p<0.001). Conclusion: Totally in the viewpoint of students, following domains did not have a ideal condition: physical environment, learning opportunity, communication between students and teachers and learning support respectively. On the other hand, in the viewpoint of teachers: physical environment, communication between students and teachers, learning opportunity and learning support were not acceptable respectively. Knowing these differences between opinions of students and teachers are helpful to solve the problems of clinical teaching.
