چکیده :

Effective managers are the rare resources of organizations. Successful organizations compete with each other to employ and survive them. Their ability to manage the organization wouldaffect the employees function. Emotional intelligence is one of the manager’s important abilities. Considering the importance of emotional intelligence and its role in function change, this research is engaged with investigation of the relation between the components of managers’ emotional intelligence and employees’ functions atuniversity. The research method is interrelationship-descriptive. 86 persons of managers and 344 employees have cooperated in this research. Two questionnaires were the measuring tools. The emotional intelligence questionnaire was Bradberry and Grewz (2005) and the function questionnaire was researcher made based on achieve model. Data by the use of SPSS software contained descriptive statistics methods, the single group statistic test, the different t between two groups;Pierson interrelationship factor and step by step regression analysis were analyzed. The research findings express that there’s a relation between the components of managers emotional intelligence and employees functions. In other words, the higher the managers’ emotional intelligence the better the employees’ functions will be.
