چکیده :

This research aimed to study the effects of salinity on growth characteristics such as chlorophyll content, dry matter, plant height, leaf area, the rate of absorption of sodium and chloride and sodium chloride in dry matter in canola cultivar SLM046 in randomized complete block design with four were performed. 6 levels of sodium chloride salinity treatments combined, including zero, 75, 150, 250, 200, 300 and 350 mM). Results disintegration of variance showed that the salinity characteristics measured at the 1% level there was significant difference. In general, with increasing salinity, were affected the greater the growth response of canola. Dry weight, leaf area and plant height decreased with increasing salinity. Plant height decreased with increasing salt concentration. High concentrations of sodium chloride (300, 350 and 250 mM) significant decrease in shoot dry weight, but the maximum dry weight was observed in the control treatment. Chlorophyll content was also affected by salinity and low salinity was 350 mM the reason for the increase in sodium, which causes degradation of chlorophyll in the leaves and shoots. Concentration and rate of absorption of sodium and chloride in dry matter were also affected by salinity. Increasing salt concentration, cases increases chloride and sodium. Reduced leaf area, with reduces leaf size and number were higher in treatment high salinity levels.
