This research is based on general hypothesis of ‘using IT leads to the improvement of human resources management tasks in tax administration of Mazandarn”. It is divided in to three sub-hypotheses that each includes influence of IT on three human resources management systems. The population of this research is: all managers, experts and personnel of deputy support and official affairs and all the populations are studied. The present research is a field study and for gathering data, despite using library resources, questionnaire is used as well. Validity of 35 researcher-made questions of questionnaire is proved by the IT experts of human resources and its reliability is determined by calculating Chronbach’s alpha (equivalent to 90%). For analyzing data, t-test is used. The result shows that all three sub-hypothesis (using IT for improving task of absorption and security system- advancement and improvement system- maintenance of human resources system has been influential in tax administration of Mazandaran) are proved. Thus all three sub-hypotheses are rejected. Finally, by wrapping up sub-questions it can be concluded that applying and using IT is not much influential in improvement of human resources management tasks in tax administration of mazandaran
