Evaluation of Knowledge Management Systems application in Disaster Management

his is a different kind of disaster that happens. Some of them are natural and the others are human made but both groups of disaster are able to disrupt human life and make serious damages. Disaster management is an important issue and needs more pay attention. Knowledge sharing can be useful in emergency situations. Emergency situations could have a tremendous effect, but it can be under control by making proper decisions and doing suitable actions. This paper, after defining knowledge management system and disaster management, asses a study about the conceptual model of the KMS application in disaster management. The importance of RFID technology in disaster management and its role in conceptual model is described. Then a model about establishing a wide virtual database to help organize things in emergency situations described. The other study about knowledge management systems in disaster management and recommendations of the researcher about designing of KMS will be discussed. Finally, some recommendations presented to moving knowledge management application in disaster management
