In most of developing countries, rural women have an important role in rural and agriculture development. Ac-cording to the FAO report to Congress on Food Security, in the last decade, rural women have been responsible for 50 percent of agricultural production in average. So rural women must be able to achieve their human goals while expressing their growing demands and enjoy the blessings of life and equal opportunities. Based on this identifying and managing opportunities and threats, weaknesses and strengths which are existed for the empow-erment of rural women is an undeniable necessity. Therefor the goal of current study with the qualitative-quantitative nature is analyzing effective structures on empowerment of rural women due to achieve sustainable development. The statistical population was the rural women of Kermanshah. In order to collecting data, Rapid Rural Appraisal Method (RRA) was used. Effective structures were analyzed based on SWOT model and according to this a questionnaire with the goal of determining the validity in terms of rural women experts was provided. Finally some strategies are proposed based on the results of current study for achieving suitable opportunities through reinforcing strengths and overcoming weaknesses, also reinforcing strengths and reduction of weakness-es in order to removing threats
