چکیده :

The purpose of this study is to investigate the psychological empowerment state and prioritize its factors. This research conducted as a descriptive and correlation type and the study population includes nursing staff of social security hospital of Zahedan, in which 132 individuals were using random selection that responded to the psycho-logical empowerment questionnaire. The reliability was confirmed using Cronbach's alpha, furthermore the ques-tionnaire prepared with a high content validity. The data were analyzed using SPSS software, t tests, and Pearson and Friedman tests. The results showed that firstly, the level of psychological empowerment and its factors (sense of competence, sense of independence, feeling meaningful, feeling effective of and trust among coworkers) is desirable and secondly, the relationship between psychological empowerment and all of its factors are positive and finally, with considering the views of respondents, psychological empowerment factors are not of equal im-portance and sense of competence is at the highest priority. Based on the findings and the relationship between the variables, and psychological empowerment and its factors are of high importance, so health system managers and executives should consider these variables in organizational analysis.
