چکیده :

The present work is concerned with the study of the creeping ow of a magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) Newtonian uid through a porous slit with exponential absorption across the walls. The governing equations of the consid- ered problem are obtained as two dimensional partial di erential equations (PDEs). Exact solutions of the ow equations lead to detailed expressions for velocity com- ponents, pressure di erence and wall shear stress. It is shown that the magnetic and the exponential absorption parameter play a vital role in altering the ow properties. The expressions for fractional absorption and leakage ux are also obtained. The graphs for velocity components, pressure di erence and wall shear stress have been shown. The velocity vectors are also shown to get a better insight of the ow.
