The objective of the present research was to compare global and specific theory of mind between sexual abusers of children and the normal people. The method of this research was of causal-comparative one. The statistical population of this research was all imprisoned sexual abusers aged 20- 35 years old in Urmia during 2009- 2010 of which 30 individuals were selected by accessible sampling. Also, in order to select the normal sample group, 30 individuals who were matched regarding the characteristics of age, gender and education with the sexual abusers were chosen. To collect data, adult eye test was applied to evaluate global and specific theory of mind. On the other hand, for data analysis, descriptive statistical methods and t-test and multi- variant analysis of variance and follow-up test of LSD were used. Results showed that the sexual abusers of children, in comparison to the normal people have significant difference in the global and specific theory of mind. That is, the sexual abusers of children have more deficiency in the global and specific theory of mind. The difficulties of the sexual abusers in the areas of intimacy, empathy and cognitive distortions are caused by increasing those, the difficulties of sexual abusers would be lowered.
