چکیده :

Background and Aim: Because of special life condition, martyrs and veterans students have unique status in comparison with other students. The objective of this study was to compare the psychological hardiness and resilience against educational stressors in veterans and normal students. Materials and Methods: The research method was causal-comparative and statistical population included all veterans and normal high school students Ilkhechi (Tabriz) were in the academic year 2016-2017. The cluster random sampling a sample of 80 students (40 veterans and 40 normal students) was selected using Cochran formula. Data collection tools included Kobasa Hardiness Scale and Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale. For data analysis, MANOVA were performed, using SPSS version 19. The significance level was considered to be 0.05. Results: Result showed that there are significant differences in the psychological hardiness and resilience variables between veterans and normal students (P<0.001). Based on the results of student veterans are less than average in psychological hardiness and resilience variables. Conclusion: Findings in this research, parallel to other researches, indicate that students with high levels of psychological hardiness and resilience keep their psychological health in stressful and tough situations and enjoy psychological adaptation.
