چکیده :

The main aim of this investigation is review of clinical learning and practices of nurses in caring for cancer patients in hospitals. Each nurse heads on challenges of caring of patients with cancer at some level in his/her nursing career. Nurses understanding outcomes of cancer for patients with full of their insight. Nurses used powerful language to show the huge of the cancer experience for the patient and his/her family. However, nurses recognized the emotional impact themselves, they tried to understate it. Participants – patients who need cancer cares – talk about their frustration and their sadness when showing the nurse–patient interactions. The life-threatening potential of cancer for the patient and the perception of potential or actual suffering do impact on learning and clinical practice of nurses. This issue is especially evident when the cancer experience not predictable for the patient is. Nurses as participants clearly felt the impact of patients’ cancer experience, both personally and professionally. Pertaining the learning potential of nurse–patient interactions can involve in changes in clinical practice. This study has the potential to promote nurses' awareness about how are their caring behaviors perceived by patients and their caregivers, and enable them to ponder over the terms under which they fulfil the patients' and their cognitive expectations. According to the findings, fundamental changes should be introduced into programmers of learning and practice of nurses, so as to expand their focus on equally emphasizing both technical and psychosocial aspects of care. besides, close cooperation between nursing professional authorities and health policy makers is vital for the purpose of shifting from the extending bio medically-oriented caring system to person centered care for all clinical paradigm.
