This study describes the length‐weight and length‐length relationships for four species
of Garra, viz., G. amirhosseini, G. gymnothorax, G. mondica and G. rosica in Iranian
basins. The specimens were collected using hand net, cast net and also electrofishing
in 27 different sites from different basins from November 2017 to June 2018.
Significantly different b values from the expected value in length–weight relationships
were observed for all the species but one. The value of the parameter b varied
between 2.70 and 3.21 among the species.
