چکیده :

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between Zahedan high school principals' decision-making styles and their teachers' efficiency. It is a description survey. Population consists of all the principals and teachers of Zahedan high schools. A census method of sampling was used here, and the entire population was considered as the sample (N = 90). After data gathering, it was reported that 10 of the questionnaires had not been answered in an acceptable way, so they were put aside and the remainder 80 questionnaires were used in data analysis. Three teachers were randomly chosen from each school and to them the questionnaire of efficiency was given. Hadi-zaadehMoghaddam and Tehrani's questionnaire of decision-making styles (2008) and Amiri Farsi's questionnaire of efficiency were used here with some minor changes. To further investigate the proposed hypotheses, Pearson correlation and regression were used. Results showed that there is no significant relationship between principals'immediate, avoiding, and dependent styles of decision-making and their teachers' efficiency while there is a significant relationship between intuitive and rational styles of principals' decision making and their teachers' efficiency. Also, it was shown that the rational decision-making is the strongest predictor of efficiency, and the intuitive one is at the second position.
