Now, university , in addition to primary roles (knowledge promotion and research
development), tried to develop their activities widely for close connection to surrounding
community more. In this attitude, potential and technological capacities will be achieved.
In this regard, current research has been done to present the relation between organizational
structure (centralization, complexity and formalization) and organizational commitment in
Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences. Here, qualitative data used, so proper
qualitative formulas will be applied to calculate sample volume. Statistical sample consists
204 people include experts who are attendant in organization. Data gathering was based on
interviewing and questionnaire used through acceptable validity ( determining formal and
content validity) and calculating reliability (the Cronbach Alpha Coefficient 85%).Pearson
correlation test used to analysis data and Friedman test applied to ranking factors. Finally,
the results of data analysis, through 18th version of SPSS indicated that there is a
significant relationship between triple variables of commitment (continuance, affective and
normative) and three variables (formalization, complexity and centralization),according to
statistical community view.
