چکیده :

The ever-increasing scale of tourism, one of the fastest growing sectors of the global economy, is not only driven by human needs and a desire for travel but also by business opportunities to respond to increasingly complex human needs and curiosities (Lee and Crompton, 1992). As the empirical investigation of entrepreneurship progresses, an increasing number of scholars are concluding that opportunity identification represents the most distinctive and fundamental entrepreneurial behavior (Kirzner, 1979; Stevenson and Jarillo, 1990; Venkatamen, 1997). Eckhardt and Shane (2003) have indicated that the dominant theory in entrepreneurship focuses on investigating the role and process of opportunity recognition in entrepreneurial activities. Recently, researchers have emphasized entrepreneurship importance not only to encourage new business development but also the recognition and pursuit of new entrepreneurial opportunities (De Carolis and Saparito, 2006; Fillis, 2006).
