Four epigean Neobisiumspecies have been recently collected
from soil and litter in north-western parts of Iran. Neobisium
(N.) crassifemoratumand Neobisium(N.) anatolicum, which
are recorded for the frst time from Iran, are redescribed and
illustrated, providing some morphometric and morphological
variations within the species. Also, the male genital organ of N.
(N.) alticolais illustrated for the frst time and a new locality
record is given for N. (N.) validum.
