چکیده :

The overall purpose of this study is to examine effects of playing computer games on creativity among Sari City zone 2 primary school male students. The statistical population of this study includes all male students of sixth grade primary schools in zone 2 of Sari City, who have been studying in academic year 2014-15. Regarding the statistical population, the students were firstly divided into two groups of those not playing computer games and those playing computer games. Torrance test of creative thinking was used to collect data. Statistical methods used for analyzing obtained data included: descriptive statistics (frequency table and its percentage, mean value and standard deviation, column charts) and inferential statistics (t test). Results of the study have shown that computer games are effective on creativity and its dimensions (sialic, flexibility, innovation, and expansion).
