In this paper, we have developed a nonlinear
directional coupler theory to describe a novel all-optical
majority function. Our scheme is composed of linear
and nonlinear optical waveguides in which switching
operation between them depending on the power of
input light. Adjusting the refractive indices, and
selecting the proper length of waveguides are simulated
by use of RSoft CAD-Layout (BeamPROP) simulator.
