The purpose of this study was to determine patients’ satisfaction with basic
clinical governance components in Shiraz Kowsar Heart Hospital. Method: In this
descriptive study, sample size was 234 persons who were selected randomly among
discharged patients from Kowsar Heart Hospital. The rate of patients’ satisfaction with
clinical governance components was assessed using Likert rating scale. Data were
analyzed using SPSS and descriptive statistical methods and chi-squared test.
Results: Findings indicated that most of patients (88.5%) had great satisfaction with
clinical governance components. Also there is a significant relationship between
variables like gender, age, education level, hospitalization history and satisfaction.
