Nowadays the constructional projects executors and
designers for unsuigraph designs, technical complexities, the variety
of required specifications, huge amount of activities and also the
great amount of involved organizations and individuals, they
confront with many issued for reaching their aims. Therefore, these
projects aren’t done in the frame of time and determined costs
frameworks. Value engineering is one of the solutions that by usage
of this systematic program and based on team innovation, not only
the project reviewed, but also the economy opportunities are
identified and emerged by the employers. Unfortunately in some
cases this technique is not arranged with needs, features, and the
limitations at constructional projects and it can not relieve the
problems. In the present article, we tried to determine the weak and
strong points, the proceeding opportunities and challenges in value
engineering at Iran constructional projects based on surveys and
library studies. Finally, the author’s suggestions for optimizing the
value engineering are represented.
