چکیده :

An efficient, green and eco-friendly protocol has been developed for the first time the activation of NH2NH2 as a transfer hydrogenation agent. Aryl and alkyl nitro compounds are cleanly reduced into the corresponding amines in the presence of hydrazine. The present methodology offers several advantages such as easy reaction condition, short reaction time, excellent yields, and reduced environmental impacts, absence of any tedious workup or purification and ease of recovery and reusability of the catalyst using a magnetic field. Also, the nanocatalyst can be easily recovered by the application of a magnetic field and reused for the next reactions at least 6 times without distinct deterioration in catalytic activity.
