چکیده :

In recent years, various methods have been used to treatment the polluted waters. Today, the adsorption is one of the most common processes to removal of heavy metals from polluted waters. Adsorbents have the main role in this technology. The goal of this study was to produce imprinted chitosan for removal of lead ions from wastewater. The main advantages of using chitosan as an adsorbent were law equilibrium time, high adsorption capacity, inexpensive production and law adsorbent consumption is lower. The equilibrium data, kinetic and thermodynamic of adsorption was studied. The equilibrium data fit well with Langmuir isotherm model compared to Langmuir model. The estimated results for thermo-dynamical and kinetic parameters showed that the lead adsorption process was spontaneous and exothermic.
