چکیده :

People in developed countries have accustomed themselves to efficient consumption patterns, while people in developing countries like Iran are not familiar with these patterns. Part of the energy consumption in all countries is related to buildings and houses. The level of energy consumption in different countries, depending on their urban development patterns was different therefore different policies are necessary to meet the challenges. So far several papers and more than ten case studies on the relationship between domestic energy consumption and urban development were written but these researches did not analyzed the impact of energy consumption on urban development fully integrated. Therefore, this paper attempts to examine the interactions between the energy consumption and urban development. Given that dynamic systems are the most widely used methods for complex problems, it is tried to demonstrate the interaction using causal loop and flow charts. Finally, the suitable strategies will be proposed for urban development through model simulations and different scenarios.
