چکیده :

Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a widely used technique for measuring the relative efficiencies of decision making units (DMUs) with multiple inputs and multiple outputs. In real-life applications, on one hand, input–output data may not be observed precisely, and might be available in imprecise forms such as fuzzy numbers. On the other hand, undesirable outputs may be present in the production process which needs to be minimized. This paper proposes a new fuzzy DEA model based upon fuzzy arithmetic to deal with fuzziness in input and desirable and undesirable output data in DEA. The proposed DEA model is formulated as linear programming models for ease of solution and implementation.
